"I look around the room and I see answers to prayer," Tim Nelson, a fellow missionary here at the seminary, said last night to our team as we were gathered for prayer.

Bryan and Christy Wiehoff arrived a week and a half ago. While God has far bigger plans than we do, they are planning on teaching at the seminary to equip the students. They are an answer to prayer as the seminary has struggled to pay professors to teach.

For years, the Honduras mission sending agency (run by native Hondurans) have been praying for missionaries to help them on the north coast with the Garifuna (a unique community in Honduras). Corey and Kristen Wells were planning on serving God in India, but he kept placing the Garifuna in Honduras in their path….and here they are, an answer to years and years of prayer. They are currently only here for a week visit, but they plan to move to Honduras within the year.

Peyton has made a one year commitment to work with the seminary to help it become self-sustainable and to assist with other projects around Honduras. He came at a time when the seminary really needed him. God provided him with the finances and ability to come far sooner than any of us expected—but at a time we really needed him.

I've been enjoying meeting them and being encouraged by these missionaries. Perhaps some of the Honduran's value of relationships is rubbing off on me.

God is moving in Honduras….It is neat to see. It is neat to see the excitement on Mark and Michelle Fittz's face (they have served in Honduras for 8 years) as they see God doing exciting things. We don't know what is ahead, but we are holding on tight for the ride—holding on to him. Apart from him, we can do nothing.

Our God is mighty, he is working in the details, behind the scenes. He is preparing hearts and moving people in answer to prayer. Our God is always working (Jn. 5:17). We have the privilege of joining him….for the ride of our lives.

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. Is. 46:10

God is mighty, but does not despise men; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose. Job 36:5
