All

"Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst" (John 6:35).

"For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority" (Colossians 2:9-10).

Think of it—the fullness of God, in you. The fullness of him who fills everything, the fullness of an infinite God. Can we even really understand that?
Every resource (2 Cor. 9:8; Phil. 4:19).
Every power (Eph. 1:18; Phil. 4:13).
Every strength (Phil. 4:13).
All wisdom.  All knowledge.
All righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Cor. 1:30).
All holiness (1 Cor. 1:30).
All redemption (1 Cor. 1:30).
All grace (2 Cor. 12:9).
All love (Eph. 3:19).
All joy (Jn. 15:11).
All hope (Col. 1:27; Rom. 15:13; 1 Tim. 1:1).
All peace (Eph. 2:14; Phil. 4:6-7).
All life (Jn. 10:10).
All yeses, all promises (2 Cor. 1:20).
He is all of this—for us. They are not separate powers or blessings he gives us (although sometimes wethink of them that way….). He is them, and he is ours, and we are in him.

All of us hunger--for control, power, security, approval. For no more cancer. For a greater purpose in life. For guidance. For certainty. It is a soul hunger.

All of us are tempted to fill our desires with spiritual fast food.  A good career may not appear to be junk food, but when it becomes the way to fill us, it is. Confidence in a doctor may not appear to be junk food, but when they are our chief source of hope to fill us, they are (no, this is not to say one does not go to doctors! They are God's means of healing grace!).
Where do I feel empty? Where do I run?

The All-Sufficient One, the Creator, the King of All, the One-Who-Moves-The-Molecules, the One-Who-Makes-the-Sun-and-Stars-Dance is inviting you to feast on him. Delight in him. Fill yourself up in him.
He is yours.
All is yours.
You need not have hunger.

Where do you feel empty? Where do you run? How does Christ fulfill that? Take a moment--there is nothing more important right now than to fall in love with Christ, seeing him as the fulfiller of this need, this soul-hunger and heart-craving.
