Kaleidoscope: 100 Days with Jesus

Kaleidoscope—everyway you turn it, new beauty. An infinite array of colors, design. The same, but each way it turns, tilts, examined, new colors and designs emerge.
Christ, the kaleidoscope revealed of infinite God.
God, infinite in beauty SPEAKS.
“But in these last days, he has spoken to us by HIS SON…the radiance of the glory of God” (Heb. 1:2-3, ESV). God speaks in Son. That is his language, the way he expresses the depths of his riches, wisdom, and knowledge, the unsearchable, indescribable mind and ways (Rom. 11:36)!
Jesus, the revealed-in-finite of the infinitude of God. His name is Jesus, but yet a God-Man with innumerable names. Do we know this Jesus, the Lion and the Lamb, the Carpenter and Creator? Have we sought to meditate on his names? Is he a flat character in the peripheries of our unfolding story or is a multi-faceted kaleidoscope of wonder and glory in 4-dimensions, 5D, 6D on our 2D story page?

If I will spend eternity worshipping him, let me begin now, train now, practice now! If that is what I was created for, let me fulfill my purpose (Isa. 43:7)! If he is my bridegroom, let me learn him now! An infinite God invites us to spend eternity exploring him, knowing him, learning him. Now, now he begins to reveal himself in Son. Each name, a different design, facet, kaleidoscope of the One God.

To help us explore the radiance of Christ, Diann Cotton has written her devotional 100 Days with Jesus. One hundred names. One hundred ways of Jesus being for us. One hundred ways Jesus is All in All. Advocate. Ruler. Sower. Sunrise. Bread of Life. Merciful. She beautifully (even photos) invites us to see Jesus. (Read my full review here).
