T's

And the Lord said, “Gillian, do not nurse your wounds: entrust your wounds. Add a couple of crosses--t and t--and it will rearrange your perspective from nurse to entrust.”

“The LORD . . .  gathers the exiles. . . .
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
He determines the number of stars and calls them each by name.
Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
His understanding has no limit.”
Psalm 157:3-5

A healing that came through the crushing of another, our Lord.
Who holds the stars yet governs in the normal swings of gravity and laws.
Whose understanding and wisdom chooses the weak way, the way of shame, the way of humiliation, the way of pain, the way of cross for a way of healing.
Who still knows there are brokenhearts
Still knows there are exiles
Still meets us in our wounds.
Still in his greatness allows this broken world to swing on its axis.
His power has no limit--
No limit, to go even in pain to a cross.
No limit, even by death.
No limit, even by our wounds and doubts and fears.
New life, new healing.

And as a note--I love the intimacy of our Lord. He knows I love words, and so taking nurse, adding two ts (crosses), and making entrust was him to me.
