I am reminded that I am going to a foreign country!
Utila Island, northern Honduras, is known for its iguanas.

Howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, and spider monkeys populate Honduras.

There are 700 different species of birds in Honduras alone--including toucans and parrots.

But my favorite--the Honduran white bat! They are small, and white (I didn't know bats came in white!). I have to share pictures....
